Sometimes your computer just needs a little "Tender Loving Cleaning" to keep it working in top form. Probably one of the most overlooked items is the computers power supply. It has a cooling fan which runs constantly when your computer is up and running. It ends up getting a lot of dust and other contaminants inside it which will cause your power supply to overheat and or let the magic smoke out of the electronics inside it.

Another device inside your computer is also a cooling fan for your microprocessor chip. The same is true here but if the dust builds up to much then it will possibly fry your microprocessor chip or you will experience computer shut down and BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) screens.

These two items as well as you keyboard should be cleaned at least once a year or preferably once every six months. Heck you change your house heating filter at least once a year I hope. Unfortunately there are not many computers with filters in them so they must be cleaned manually.
