Product Return and Exchange Policy
ComputersAtHomeUSA offers a 30 day return policy on computer systems and
14 days on upgrade kits, computer parts and accessories. For further information
not listed, please contact us.
Please call our RMA Department at 740-359-6817 (Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm ET) or
use e-mail to
Dave@ComputersAtHomeUSA.com stating the reasons for the request of an RMA
along with your original order Number and phone number. We will contact you via
phone to ascertain if a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be
Issued before
you ship your product. Positively NO returns of any type will be accepted
without an RMA number. For faster service, please have the following information
on hand when calling for an RMA number:
- customer name
- order number
- serial number(s)
- nature of the problem.
All products returned MUST be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes
and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes,
contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and
documentation provided by the manufacturer.
You are responsible for shipping charges on returned items, including insurance; ComputersAtHomeUSA
will match your shipping method on your replacement or exchange item(s).
ComputersAtHomeUSA strongly recommends you fully insure your return shipment in
case it is lost or damaged and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof
of delivery for your protection.
If merchandise arrives damaged: It is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier
attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the
carrier's delivery record in order for ComputersAtHomeUSA to file a damage
claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in,
notify ComputersAtHomeUSA immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a
pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify ComputersAtHomeUSA
Computers of damaged goods within the first 7 days of arrival, our
regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all
current manufacturer restrictions. Call 740-359-6817 (Mon-Fri, 10am — 5pm
ET) to arrange for carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise.
Manufacturer restrictions do apply and are outlined in our detailed policy. Any
item that is missing the UPC can ONLY be replaced with the same item. After 30
days, all manufacturers' warranties apply.
NON-DEFECTIVE returns can be accepted directly by ComputersAtHomeUSA
within 30 days for computer systems and 14 days for upgrade kits
and computer parts since invoice date, at ComputersAtHomeUSA's discretion for:
credit, exchange. All NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to a 20% percent
restocking fee.
DEFECTIVE returns can be returned directly to ComputersAtHomeUSA within
30 days from the invoice date, at ComputersAtHomeUSA's discretion for: credit,
replacement, exchange or repair.
Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items. Customers are
responsible for all shipping charges back to ComputersAtHomeUSA on returned
items. ComputersAtHomeUSA will pay the shipping charges on the replacement or
exchange item(s) going back to customer.
Software Return Policy
Only defective software can be returned to ComputersAtHomeUSA. The return must
take place within 14 days of invoice date and may only be replaced for the SAME
software title. Unopened software may be returned for refund or exchange within
30 days of invoice date. Multiple software licenses cannot be returned for
refund or exchange unless first authorized by the manufacturer. NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to a 20% percent
restocking fee.
Order
Cancellations
Orders placed on ComputersAtHomeUSA.com can only be cancelled within 3 days of the invoice
date. Orders cancelled within 3 days are subject to a 10% processing cancellation
fee. All orders cancelled after 3 days are subject to 20% restocking fee. Your
order can not be cancelled online. To cancel orders, please call 740-359-6817
(Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm ET).
Since majority of orders are handled and shipped within 48-96 hours, it's
possible that we've already shipped the product to you. In that case, you may
need to return it to us at your expense. Please refer to our return policy.
NOTE: ComputersAtHomeUSA does not ship orders on Saturday and Sunday. Orders
placed after 3 p.m. ET
Friday will ship the following Monday.
